According to Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch, Bobrovsky, who suffered the injury in the third period, was unable to put any weight on his leg.
The 25-year-old Russian won the Vezina Trophy during the 2012-13 season after posting a 21-11-6 record and .932 save percentage, and while he hasn't quite repeated that success, he has been an integral part for Columbus during his second season with the team.
Entering Tuesday's game, in which he saved all 18 shots he faced, "Bob" had a .906 save percentage and one shutout.
Curtis McElhinney, who spent last season in the AHL, came in for Bobrovsky and held on for the team's 1-0 win.
