New York Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh left the game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Feb. 6 after suffering a concussion during a run-in with forward Wayne Simmonds. It is uncertain when he will return to action.

Latest on McDonagh's Recovery Friday, Feb. 12 Jim Cerny of Blue Shirts United reported McDonagh skated before the team's morning skate ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Kings. While he won't play Friday, it's his first activity since the injury.

Vigneault Comments on McDonagh's Status Tuesday, Feb. 9

"I saw [McDonagh] briefly this morning...no new development there, he is day to day," head coach Alain Vignault told reporters.

The Rangers announced McDonagh would not return to the game after a scuffle with Simmonds.
