Rangers vs. Sabres Game Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

Citing Buffalo's ongoing battle with record-setting snowfall, the NHL announced Friday's scheduled game between the Sabres and New York Rangers has been postponed and rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.

Rangers-Sabres Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

"Due to the continuing weather-related difficulties in the Greater Buffalo area and out of respect for the fans of the Sabres, Friday's game between the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center, NHL Game No. 291, has been postponed," the league said in a statement.    


The game was initially scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The Buffalo area has been hit with a massive winter storm over the past few days, with more than five feet of snow already on the ground, per Doyle Rice of USA Today.
