For the second straight game, oft-criticized Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury held the New York Rangers off the scoresheet, giving his team a 2-1 lead over the New York Rangers in its best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series.

After earning a 3-0 shutout win on Sunday in Pittsburgh to draw his team even in the series, Fleury was perfect again on Monday in Manhattan, with a little help from his posts along the way.

The Rangers thought they'd finally scored midway through the second period, but video review showed that the shot deflected off the crossbar behind the Penguins' netminder.

For their part, the Penguins were opportunistic in building their 2-0 lead. Sidney Crosby scored what proved to be the game-winner, his first of the playoffs, following a failed Rangers power play early in the second, while Jussi Jokinen added the insurance marker on a breakaway out of the penalty box with 4:40 remaining in the middle frame.

The Rangers have now failed to score for a full 120 minutes, since Derick Brassard's overtime goal earned them a win in Pittsburgh in Game 1.
