Penguins vs. Rangers: Game 2 Score and Twitter Reaction from 2015 NHL Playoffs

The Pittsburgh Penguins overcame seven New York Ranger power plays, Sidney Crosby overcame his playoff scoring woes and the Penguins not only overcame a 1-0 deficit in Game 2 but also in the series, beating the Rangers 4-3 at Madison Square Garden to even things up at a game apiece in their first-round tilt. 

Crosby was the hero in this contest, scoring two goals, while Chris Kunitz added a goal and two assists for Pittsburgh. Derek Stepan, Derick Brassard and Rick Nash all scored for the Rangers, who could only capitalized once on the power play despite the Penguins giving them plenty of man advantages. 

The Penguins put forth a gutty defensive effort, blocking 20 shots, and were more clinical with their chances, as the Rangers outshot them, 26-22. They also seemed to simply want it more on the night, as Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News noted:
