NY Islanders at Toronto Maple Leafs Preview: Isles Look To End Leafs Streak

The Islanders head north to Toronto and are looking to end the Leafs four-game winning streak tonight. Coming off an impressive 5-2 victory over the visiting Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night, the Isles will need to play their most complete game against the Leafs if they want to give them their first loss of the season.

Saturday night marked the return of John Tavares (concussion) and James Wisniewski (suspension) and the Isles seemed to dominate throughout the game. Tavares and Josh Bailey are returning home to play in front of some friends and family who live in Toronto, so expect them to play with more heart than usual. Milan Jurcina is coming off a two-goal game against the Avs and has looked impressive so far in the young season with his new team.

Both teams missed the playoffs last season, and have gotten off to hot starts early this season. Even though the Isles are without their two top players, Mark Streit and Kyle Okposo, they have played well and are tied atop the Atlantic Division with the Pittsburgh Penguins heading into tonight's contest.
