The 2013-14 season will be underway in less than a month. Teams will report to training camp in early September and the chase for Lord Stanley's Cup will be in its infancy.
Several teams will have a legitimate chance to win, others will have a longshot chance and a few will be building for the future.
A few teams, like the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks, don't have to worry about their window of opportunity closing. Stars like Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith and Corey Crawford are in the prime of their careers.
