NHL Power Rankings: B/R Experts’ Week 20 Poll

The 2015-16 NHL season has been a remarkable one, as precious little separates some of the best teams in hockey from some of the worst.

Twelve teams sit within 10 points of the last-place Toronto Maple Leafs; any of those clubs could plausibly finish in 30th overall with a run of bad play over the remaining third of the season. Fourteen more teams sit within 10 points of the Carolina Hurricanes, the team one point clear of the Toronto block below it; any of those could self-destruct sufficiently to miss out on the postseason.

Above the fray? The Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues. Every other club is going to be fighting tooth and nail for positioning down the stretch.

I'll be your host as we go through the happenings of the last week, but the rankings that follow aren't solely based on my assessment.
