NHL Draft 2014: Full Results and Grades for All Teams

Not all teams improved equally in the 2014 NHL draft.

While all teams improved, some took advantage of their draft picks significantly more than other franchises did.

Here are draft grades for every NHL team.





Highest Grade: Florida Panthers 

Aaron Ekblad wasn't necessarily the consensus first overall pick. The draft didn't have one of those this year. But no one is second guessing the Panthers' decision to draft the physically gifted defenseman. 

At 6'3", 213 pounds, his potential is through the roof. And he's produced big time for the Barrie Colts. Over his last two OHL seasons, he has a plus/minus of 38 points, scored 30 goals and delivered 57 assists. But not only is Ekblad a special talent, he couldn't fit the Panthers much better.
