The Eastern Conference dominated the skills competition on Saturday night, defeating the Western Conference by a score of 29-12 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
By virtue of its victory, the East has elected to play first during Sunday's three-on-three tournament. The Metropolitan and Atlantic Divisions will compete first, followed by the Central and Pacific, with the winners meeting each other in the final.
Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings opened up the night by winning the fastest skater competition. The 19-year-old went on to break Mike Gartner's all-time record on his final run with a time of 13.172 seconds.
P.K. Subban pulled off an epic Jaromir Jagr impression, complete with the jersey, wig and all, to take home the win in the breakaway trick shot competition after a fan vote.
John Tavares of the New York Islanders narrowly held off the Pittsburgh Penguins' Evgeni Malkin to win the shooting accuracy competition.
Hometown favorite Shea Weber won the hardest shot competition for the second year in a row, topping out at a laser-guided 108.1 mph.
