The Tampa Bay Lightning are one game away from advancing to the Stanley Cup Final.

Ben Bishop bounced back from a tough performance on home ice in Game 4, in which he allowed five goals, with his second shutout of the playoffs in a 2-0 win over the New York Rangers.

The Rangers dominated possession for the first half of the game, but no goals on four power-play opportunities might have been their undoing.

Tampa Bay got on the board with a Valtteri Filppula conversion of a Steven Stamkos pass at the 13:29 mark of the middle frame, then a power-play goal by Stamkos off an excellent passing sequence from the so-called "Triplets" sealed the deal.

After three high-scoring contests, Game 5 was all about defense. Final shots were 26-22 in favor of the Rangers, who also had 22 shots blocked by Tampa Bay.

The Rangers were able to rebound from a 3-2 series deficit in Round 2 to eliminate the Washington Capitals. They'll need to win another two games while facing elimination in the Eastern Conference Final if they hope to advance to their second straight Stanley Cup Final.
