The New York Rangers used a late goal from Dominic Moore to fend off the pesky Tampa Lightning in Game 1 of the 2015 Eastern Conference Finals by a score of 2-1. In a back and forth game that had high energy and higher intensity, the Blueshirts were able to overcome three third-period power plays from Tampa Bay to come out on top.

Derek Stepan opened the scoring at the end of the second period, scoring on a rebound with 12 seconds left. Ondrej Palat scored on the first of Tampa's power plays midway through the third to equalize.

The two teams return to Madison Square Garden for Game 2 on Monday night.

Lightning 1, Rangers 2 — END OF REGULATION.
