David Krejci has long been an integral part of the Boston Bruins' attack, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for a long time.     

According to a league source cited by WEEI.com's DJ Bean, Peter Chiarelli and his staff have come to an agreement on a new six-year contract with their 28-year-old center:

Krejci is set to enter the last year of his current contract in 2014-15, and according to Bean, the new deal doesn't go into effect until the 2015-16 NHL campaign. That means Krejci is signed to be a Bruin for the next seven seasons, or until he's 35. 

With this deal, he will be Boston's highest-paid player from a cap-figure perspective, but he has unquestionably earned the raise.
