Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: DraftKings NHL Optimal Lineup for December 29

The 2015 NHL season resumed over the weekend after a mini-break with several daily fantasy hockey stars continuing strong seasons. But with so many DFS players enjoying the Christmas break, it's hard to keep up with which players are trending.

That's what we're here for. We've selected one player at each position to target for your daily fantasy lineups on Tuesday night. Here's a look at those names and why each should be a lock for DFS domination on DraftKings.

 

Center: Ryan Getzlaf, Anaheim Ducks ($5,800)



Before you call me an idiot, let me explain. Ryan Getzlaf's season numbers have been putrid, but he's trending upward recently. The Anaheim Ducks' first-line center has just two goals this season, but he scored the most recent one in his fifth two-point night of 2015 on Sunday.

His goal and assist against the Philadelphia Flyers continued a trend of four points in his last three outings. Given his 4.8 fantasy point average over that stretch and facing a porous Calgary Flames defense that ranks 30th against centers on DraftKings, Getzlaf is a sneaky-good addition at $5,800.
