Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Camp: Meet the Players

July 8th, 2011 by Samantha Hoffmann Leave a reply »
The Chicago Blackhawks will be holding their annual prospect camp starting Thursday, July 7th and running to Monday, July 11th.

Thursday's schedule is from 10:00am to 1:15pm CDT and is the first on-ice session.

On Friday and Saturday, the prospects will be split into two groups, which will practice for 75 minutes each.

The prospects will then spend Sunday and Monday scrimmaging (three 20 minute periods).

A total of 46 players have been invited. The invitees include recent Blackhawks draft picks, such as Mark McNeil and Philip Danault. All of the prospects are either Blackhawks draftees or Unrestricted Free Agents (UFAs) and are not Rockford IceHogs (their AHL-league affiliate) or professionals.

All sessions will be at Johnny's Ice House West in Chicago and are open to the public.

Note: Images for some invitees are missing because I was unable to find a free image or video for the player. A simple search should provide you with an image.
