Chicago Blackhawks 2010-2011 Projected Roster, Part I: The Forwards

The new NHL season is upon us and it’s just about time that teams in the NHL head to camp to get ready for this new season.  The Blackhawks won’t be any different than any other team preparing for the new season except for the fact that they will attempt to defend their championship title and make an attempt to be at the top of the league for the second season in a row.

This is a different Blackhawks team than what we saw a year ago.  Gone are guys like Dustin Byfuglein and Antti Niemi.  They don’t have John Madden any longer and traded Kris Versteeg away during the offseason leaving very few familiar faces in Chicago.

Granted, the Blackhawks still have some of their stars from last year’s squad including Patrick Kane, Marian Hossa and of course Jonathan Towes.  Along with several other supporting players from last season (along with some new faces) the Blackhawks promise to go into this season with a solid team and be fully prepared to defend their Stanley Cup title and make another run at the Cup.
