Carolina Hurricanes Might Not Understand the Implications of ‘Netflix and Chill’

You've barely touched the "n" on your screen and Siri already knows it's going down.

"Netflix and chill?"

The phone finishes it for you, because it knows you, and it knows that what comes next is you putting on sweatpants, heading to her place and seeing how many minutes into Scandal it'll take until you're not watching Scandal anymore.  

That's "Netflix and chill" as it was originally defined—a romantic evening founded on the false pretense that you and a person you are attracted to are hanging out solely to watch Kerry Washington's search for love and redemption in the seedy underground of D.C. power politics.

And I don't think the Carolina Hurricanes knew that.

Because, as it happened on Tuesday night, the franchise's Twitter account sent out what was meant to be a playful tweet to the Dallas Stars:

And Dallas wasn't about that:

It ended in Carolina accepting the mulligan:
