Anders Lindback to Sabres for Jhonas Enroth: Latest Trade Details and Reaction

While not a significant upgrade to one of the worst goaltending situations in the NHL, the Dallas Stars have reportedly traded Anders Lindback to Buffalo for Jhonas Enroth.

According to McKenzie, the draft pick going to Buffalo is conditional depending on how the Stars finish this season:



The Sabres own the league's worst record at 16-36-3 with just 35 points, so acquiring a future draft pick is essential for this franchise to pull itself out of apathy. They also get back a goaltender in Lindback, who can take over for Enroth. 

The Stars are fighting for their playoff lives with 58 points, tied for 10th in the Western Conference, thanks to allowing the third-most goals per game (3.2). That ineptitude on defense has negated one of the best offenses, as Dallas ranks second in goals per game (3.1).
