Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook recorded his third consecutive triple-double—his sixth during the month of March—in Tuesday's 111-107 win over the Houston Rockets, making him the first player with six or more triple-doubles in a calendar month since Michael Jordan had seven in April 1989, per NBA.com/Stats.

Despite missing all seven of his three-point attempts, Westbrook finished Tuesday's game with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists, more than making up for a shaky shooting performance and his four turnovers.

The 27-year-old guard has an NBA-best 15 triple-doubles this season, with his Thunder owning an impressive 15-0 record in those games, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).

Oklahoma City has a modest 34-22 record when Westbrook doesn't put up a triple-double, including an ugly 1-5 mark in such instances this month.

With five games still remaining in March, Westbrook has a good chance to pass Jordan's record for the most triple-doubles in a calendar month over the past 30 years.
