Despite falling behind in the opening quarter, the Washington Wizards bounced back in the second and never looked back, downing the Toronto Raptors 117-106 to take a 2-0 series lead.

The first-round series now heads to Washington, where the Wizards will look to finish off the struggling Toronto squad.

John Wall led the way for Washington, finishing the night with 26 points (8-of-16 FG) and a franchise- postseason-high 17 assists. The All-Star point guard was on fire the entire night, attacking the rim and scoring at will from virtually anywhere on the court.

He was joined by Bradley Beal, whose 28 points set a new career playoff-high. It was on Beal's shoulders that Washington made its big second quarter run after Toronto opened the game with a 12-2 lead, and on Wall's that they pulled away.

Marcin Gortat scored the bulk of his 16 points in the first quarter, but provided the team with a great option in the post. He and Wall ran the pick and roll beautifully for the entirety of the contest.
