Corey Brewer had 26 points and 10 rebounds off the bench, James Harden scored 20 and the Houston Rockets thumped the Toronto Raptors, 98-76, Saturday night at the Toyota Center.

This was an incredibly ugly affair.

Both teams committed 25 turnovers, with each ballclub reaching over 20 giveaways in the third quarter. The Rockets, however, were able to score 58 points in the second half to knock the Raptors out. 

Houston got off to a very slow start and fell behind 13-5 early, but Brewer and the reserves sparked the team and helped them take a 40-36 lead into halftime.

The Rockets got 48 points from their bench overall, with Terrence Jones scoring 11 and Josh Smith contributing nine. Jones finished one rebound shy of a double-double.

Houston did not shoot the ball particularly well, hitting on 42 percent of its shots and going just 6-of-29 from three-point range, but it buckled down defensively.

Toronto, which was without Lou Williams (ankle) in this one, was absolutely miserable offensively.
