Tony Parker Injury: Updates on Spurs Star’s Triceps

San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker will miss Sunday night's road game against the Phoenix Suns with an injury.

According to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News, Parker won't be able to take the floor in the Spurs' next game, thanks to a right triceps contusion:

Spurs report Tony Parker (right triceps contusion) is out tomorrow vs. Suns. Gary Neal (tightness, left calf) is questionable.

— Jeff McDonald (@JMcDonald_SAEN) February 23, 2013 It's not exactly clear when Parker suffered the injury, but chances are it was in the Spurs' most recent game against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night in a losing effort that went to overtime. Parker logged a total of 40 minutes in that game.

Parker has been the lone constant for his team, as both Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili have missed time this season due to injury and/or rest.

Both superstars are expected to be in the lineup on Sunday against the Suns, so at least head coach Gregg Popovich will have two of his best players to pick up the slack.
