The Minnesota Timberwolves (26-52) played the role of spoilers on Tuesday at Oracle Arena, beating the Golden State Warriors (69-9) 124-117 in overtime.

Shabazz Muhammad led the way for the Wolves, scoring 35 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Andrew Wiggins added 32, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Klay Thompson, who had 28 points on 12-of-22 shooting. Curry had 21 points (on 25 shots) and 15 assists. Harrison Barnes scored 18 of his 20 in the first half.

Golden State now needs to go 4-0 to close the season in order to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record of 72 wins in a single season.
