Timberwolves Set Record with 3 20-Point Scorers Under Age of 21

The Minnesota Timberwolves earned a small piece of NBA history during Monday's 114-107 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, becoming the first team with three 20-point scorers under the age of 21 in a single game, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).

Doing the honors were combo guard Zach LaVine, shooting guard Andrew Wiggins and center Karl-Anthony Towns, all three of whom are 20 years old.

Towns, the first-overall selection in the 2015 NBA draft, led the way with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal, continuing his recent trend of superstar-level performance.

Wiggins, the top-overall pick from the 2014 draft, pitched in 20 points of his own, albeit with just one rebound, one assist, two steals and a block in a team-high 39 minutes.

LaVine, who was selected 13th overall in 2014, contributed 21 points, four rebounds, six assists and a steal in 30 minutes off the bench.
