Tim Duncan Passes John Stockton for Most Wins Ever with 1 NBA Team

San Antonio Spurs iron man Tim Duncan added another accomplishment to his remarkable resume against the New York Knicks on Monday, picking up his 954th career win, the most ever by a player with one team in NBA history, according to Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).

Duncan passed Utah Jazz legend John Stockton for the record, per the NBA's official Twitter account. Stockton’s former teammate, Karl Malone, is third on the list with 919 wins, according to the Spurs' official Twitter account.

Quixem Ramirez of the Austin Statesman put Duncan's accomplishment into perspective: 



The feat came a day after Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker became the winningest trio in NBA history with 541 victories by defeating the Boston Celtics, according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.

Duncan, in his 19th season, will be a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer with five NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVP awards, and 15 All-Star selections to his name.
