Teams Scuffle After Dunleavy and Antetokounmpo Get Tangled, Technicals Assessed

With the score locked at 11-11 early in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series, the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls got tangled up.

Giannis Antetokounmpo went over the back of Chi-Town’s Mike Dunleavy as the two forwards leapt for a rebound at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. They tumbled into the baseline, and both No. 34s refused to unlock their arms, causing their teammates to intervene.

The referees did a great job of diffusing this, as it had potential for a more explosive altercation. Officials could be heard barking out orders: “Everybody let go!”

Once Dunleavy returned to his feet, he exchanged words with Bucks point guard Michael Carter-Williams. Antetokounmpo was called for a loose-ball foul, while Dunleavy and MCW both received technicals.

Minutes later, completely unaware that his every movement on the court is documented, Bulls point guard Aaron Brooks delivered a forearm shiver to Jerryd Bayless.
