Suns vs. Pacers Game Delayed Due to Power Outage in Downtown Indianapolis

Tuesday night's showdown between the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns at Bankers Life Fieldhouse was interrupted with less than five minutes to play in the second quarter because of an Indianapolis-area power issue. 

The Pacers' official Twitter account estimated the stoppage in play would be around 15 minutes, but it officially clocked in at 22 minutes, according to the Indianapolis Star's Nate Taylor.

Tuesday wasn't the first time the Pacers were delayed by a power outage. In their Jan. 4 loss to the Miami Heat, the start of play was delayed by almost a half-hour following a lighting malfunction at American Airlines Arena, according to the Associated Press (via WLFI.com). 

After falling to the Heat, 103-100, Indiana rebounded to capture back-to-back wins over the New Orleans Pelicans and Orlando Magic. However, the Pacers entered Tuesday night's clash seeking to erase memories of a 107-103 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
