Steph Curry vs. Wizards: Stats, Highlights and Twitter Reaction

There's ridiculous, and then there's what Stephen Curry did Wednesday night in the Golden State Warriors' 134-121 win over the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center. 

After scoring 50 points combined in the Warriors' last three games leading up to Wednesday's win, Curry exploded for 51 points on 19-of-28 shooting, including 11-of-16 from three to fall one trey short of tying the NBA single-game record held by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Curry is the only player in NBA history to drain 11 threes in a game multiple times. 



A quick scan of Basketball-Reference.com also shows Curry is the only player in the NBA this season with multiple 50-point performances. All told, he now has four 50-point games for his career. 

According to the Wall Street Journal's Ben Cohen, Wednesday's display accelerated Curry's torrid pace from beyond the arc in a ridiculous way:
