The Memphis Grizzlies rode the red-hot shooting of Mike Conley on the way to a 95-87 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, Tuesday at the FedExForum.

Conley scored 16 of his 30 points in the first quarter, and shot a blistering 10-of-13 overall. He also grabbed seven boards and dished out six assists.

Only two other Grizzlies hit double figures. Marc Gasol went for 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Tayshaun Prince added 12 points off the bench.

The Spurs were led by the backcourt tandem of Cory Joseph and Marco Belinelli, with each guard dropping 18 points on 13 shots.

Patty Mills added 10 off the bench, but shot just 3-of-10 from the field. Tim Duncan nearly notched a double-double with 10 boards and nine points.

San Antonio was able to cut what was once a 16-point lead all the way down to five in the second half, but without Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard, simply didn't have the firepower to complete the comeback.
