Although it took a little longer than expected, the Miami Heat took care of business against the Sacramento Kings in two overtimes and won their 12th straight game on Tuesday night in South Beach, 141-129.

LeBron James had a big third quarter that propelled Miami to its best frame of the evening, but the Kings were able to keep pace thanks to a great quarter from Tyreke Evans and John Salmons. They enabled the Kings to have a one-point lead going into the final frame.

Ray Allen drained a trio of three-pointers en route to a big fourth quarter, and it looked like Miami was going to win this game with a five-point lead and a little over a minute to play.

However, the Kings were able to hold the Heat scoreless in the last minute while Marcus Thornton drained a huge three and DeMarcus Cousins scored the equalizer in the paint to even the score and send the game to overtime.

After one overtime wasn't enough to decide things, the Kings and Heat went to another extra frame.
