Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook appears to have a game plan to slow down Golden State's Stephen Curry when the two teams meet in the Western Conference Finals.
Curry does not present any new challenges, according to Westbrook.
"He's a shooter," Westbrook said, per the Oklahoman's Anthony Slater. "He's not nothing I haven't seen. Him, [Damian] Lillard, guys like that can shoot the basketball from four or five feet behind the three. You got to do a little, different job. But just be physical."
Whatever Westbrook plans to do defensively on the two-time NBA MVP, it better be something different than his team's approach during the regular season.
In three games against Oklahoma City this year, Curry averaged 35 points per game while shooting 45 percent from three.
Westbrook has not been nearly as effective against the Warriors in the last two seasons, per ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss:
