Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio suffered a sprained right elbow Saturday against the Sacramento Kings. It is uncertain when he will return to action.

Latest on Rubio's Timeline for Return Tuesday, Nov. 1 The Timberwolves announced on Monday that Rubio will be out indefinitely as he recovers from the sprained elbow. His status will be updated "as appropriate."

While the Timberwolves are without Rubio's deft distribution and defense, they announced on Tuesday that they will turn to rookie point guard Kris Dunn as their new starting floor general.

Rubio Struggling to Shake Injury History After Rubio missed significant time because of a severely sprained left ankle during the 2014-15 season, he battled soreness in the same ankle toward the end of November 2015. However, he missed only a handful of games before returning to his place as Minnesota's starting point guard.
