Report: Chris Mullin a Candidate for Portland Trail Blazers GM Position

The Portland Trail Blazers' seemingly never-ending search for a new general manager has allegedly led them to the door of yet another NBA retread.

According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld, the Blazers have added Hall-of-Famer and former Golden State Warriors executive Chris Mullin to their list of potential hires:

Chris Mullin is in the mix for the Portland Trail Blazers' general manager job, according to sources close to the situation.

The Blazers have been without an official GM since last spring, when they fired Rich Cho and promoted Director of Scouting Chad Buchanan to the position of acting interim GM. The intervening season saw Portland get off to a fast start before flailing to a 28-38 record and failing to reach the playoffs for the sixth time in nine years as a result.
