Randy Foye to Thunder: Latest Trade Details, Comments and Reaction

Coming into the 2014-15 season, guard Randy Foye had played for five different teams in his nine-year career. He can make it six teams now, as the veteran guard was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday in exchange for D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak, two second-round draft picks and cash.

The Thunder announced the deal Thursday evening.

Being traded is nothing new for Foye, who was literally traded twice before he played a game in the NBA. After being selected seventh overall in the 2006 draft by the Boston Celtics, he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers, who, in turn, sent him to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Brandon Roy. 

Foye spent three seasons with Minnesota before being traded to the Washington Wizards, where he played for one season before signing with the Los Angeles Clippers. He then signed a one-year-contract with the Utah Jazz, where he spent one season before being moved to the Denver Nuggets in a sign-and-trade deal. He spent the past one-and-a-half years in Denver.
