Rajon Rondo Is Not Hearing That "Old Legs" Talk

Kevin Garnett isn't the only Celtic who is over the "we're so old" narrative.

Minutes after dribbling out the clock in Boston's 92-91 Game 1 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, Rajon Rondo was tabbed for TNT's postgame interview. Made sense, after the point guard poured in another triple-double, finishing with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 17 assists.

TNT's David Aldridge spoke to Rondo about the game before shifting focus to the tough schedule the two teams will face in the days to come.

What follows is a perfect example of Rondo being Rondo.

He'll do your postgame interview, and he'll answer your questions, he's just not talking about being old, because, just like locker-room leader Garnett, he isn't hearing that.

Whether you like Rondo's quirky attitude or it rubs you the wrong way, there's no denying the impact he had on the Celtics tonight as they pulled away in the fourth.
