Paul Millsap Involved in Car Accident: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap was involved in an vehicle accident in which his car struck a motorcycle in Atlanta. 

Per TMZ Sports, the accident occurred Monday evening and the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The Hawks told TMZ that Millsap was not injured in the accident. 

Per the police report Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution obtained, Millsap was not at fault and the motorcyclist was cited for failing to maintain the lane.

Officials told TMZ that the motorcycle was on fire at the scene of the accident and the Atlanta Fire Department put it out. 

Millsap was back at Atlanta's team workout on Tuesday after the accident. Vivlamore and Alexis Stevens reported he was expected to play in the Hawks' preseason game Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans. 

The 31-year-old Millsap is a three-time NBA All-Star. He started a career-high 81 games last season, averaging 17.1 points and a career-best nine rebounds per game. 

The Hawks will open the regular season on October 27 hosting the Washington Wizards.  ...
