George Suffers Lower Leg Contusion

George would not return to the game after originally being listed as questionable to return.
After the 92-84 win, George said he was hit around the right calf, per Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star. “It was hard to put pressure through it,” he said.
George called himself "day to day," per Buckner.
This is a devastating blow to the Pacers if George is forced to miss extensive time. He is the most talented player on the roster and the squad’s best chance to re-establish itself among the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference.
This is also a difficult setback for George because he appeared in only six games down the stretch run of the 2014-15 season after a gruesome leg injury he suffered as a member of Team USA. He only played 15.2 minutes per night and clearly wasn’t the same player who was a dominant two-way force for the Pacers the previous season.
