The New York Knicks are winning at an outstanding rate to start the 2012-13 NBA season, and a big part of that is the way they've played at Madison Square Garden.

New York is called the "Mecca of Basketball" for a reason, and with the Knicks finally returning to prominence, we're seeing that reflected in their play at MSG.

During their hot start to the season, the Knicks have gone undefeated at the Garden and are the last team standing without a home defeat.

MSG has long been one of the league's premier venues—players typically try to bring their best to New York—but now it's becoming the best home-court advantage in the entire league.

Since Mike Woodson took over back in March, the Knicks have gone 20-1 at home, with their head coach making it a priority to defend home-court over anything else. That attitude has paid off big time, with opposing teams finding it hard to keep up at the Garden.

When you take a look at the MSG crowd, it's easy to see why the Knicks' players get so pumped to play at home.
