New York Knicks: Who Will Bring the Hype to the Garden in 2012?

With the Brooklyn Nets arriving in town, the New York Knicks must go the extra yard in order to bring the hype and excitement to Madison Square Garden in 2012.

There are certain players in the league that are game-changers. Once they get in the zone, you know that they're capable of dominating the court and being a leader for the team. The two players that must bring the hype for the Knicks this upcoming season are Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.

Anthony and Stoudemire have had their ups and downs with the Knicks in the past, but next season they are capable of changing all of that. If they both show up in prime physical condition, they could help the Knicks make an actual run in the postseason.

This past season, the Knicks lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs in five games. After the early exit, Anthony and Stoudemire must recognize their weaknesses and work together to make this team one that can hold their own in the playoffs.

Anthony averaged an impressive 22.6 points per game during 2011-2012, while Stoudemire only averaged 17.5, nearly four points below his career average.
