New Orleans Pelicans vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Live Score, Highlights, Reaction

Thunder 121, Pelicans 95—Final

The Oklahoma City Thunder used a strong second half to pull away from the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each netted 23 points, while the explosive guard added 10 assists and nine rebounds. Serge Ibaka chipped in 18 points for the Thunder (40-14).

Oklahoma City committed 18 turnovers, which allowed New Orleans (20-33) to hang around for longer than it probably should have. The Pelicans scored 24 points off those giveaways while surrendering just six off nine turnovers.

Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday, ironically enough, also scored 23 each. However, a 50-31 disparity on the glass and a 3-of-16 clip from three-point range handed New Orleans a loss.

The Thunder improved to 2-0 against the Pelicans this season.
