Jimmy Butler continued his breakout season Saturday, leading the Chicago Bulls with 33 points in a 107-100 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Butler scored at will, making 12-of-18 shots and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. He was particularly effective in the post, especially when matched up with Jrue Holiday.

Derrick Rose added 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting. A trio of reserves also reached double figures, with Aaron Brooks, Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic scoring 13, 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Pelicans, meanwhile, got another stellar effort from Anthony Davis. The versatile big man scored 29 points, grabbed 11 boards and blocked six shots.

Tyreke Evans added 26 points on 10-of-21 shooting and Jrue Holiday went for 19 points and seven assists.

The Pelicans next game will be Tuesday, against the Phoenix Suns, at 8 p.m. ET. The Bulls will be on the road to face the Indiana Pacers, Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
