NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL: Rest Easy

I had a dream. Well, more like a nightmare. More like Freddy Kruger than Martin Luther King Jr. A daydream, really, or possibly just a thought. Let me explain. Back in sixth grade, while living in my parents house, we seemed to have cable television every other year. One year I would be watching Rocko's Modern Life and Rocket Power, and the next I would be relegated to suffering through ZOOM! and Buffy the Vampire Slayer re-runs. In either case, during this particular year, we were sans the extra channels, so I would hardly waste my time sitting in front of a box being entertaining by pretty pictures and bright lights. However sometimes, the tube just yearned for attention. So I gave in. Being the basketball fan that I was, it was very long suffering to not have cable and try to keep up with what was going on in the league. But I tried, through newspapers and the Internet (AOL.Com!). Basketball was really the only sport that I ever cared about back then, so anything related to the game that was being shown on TV made my ears perk.
