Roy Hibbert was a star in Indiana, and he guided the Pacers to the second round of the NBA Playoffs in 2012.

However, he's a free agent now, and you can guarantee that some teams will go after the star Pacer center.

Philadelphia lacks an elite big man, and Hibbert is definitely a guy who could change that. While they will have to throw a lot of cash at Hibbert to pry him away from Indiana, he is definitely worth it.

Hibbert is a good rebounder and a good scoring threat down low, and he would fill a gaping hole for Philadelphia. If the Sixers had a good big man, they probably would have beat the Celtics in the second round of the playoffs.

Even though Hawes had a solid jump shot, he struggled to grab rebounds against the worst rebounding team in the NBA (during the regular season), the Celtics. Thanks to that, the Celtics beat the Sixers in seven games.

Hibbert is a good rebounder, and he is also a great defender. He averaged 2 blocks per game in 2011-12, and he protects the rim with authority. For the Sixers, a team built around defense, his defensive presence would vastly improve the team.
