NBA 3-Point Contest 2016: Winner, Score Results and Twitter Reaction

Last year, it was Stephen Curry. This year, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson upended his fellow Splash Brother and Phoenix Suns rookie Devin Booker to win the 2016 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest on Saturday night.

After his MVP teammate made 23 points in his championship round, Thompson responded by making his last six money balls to take home the trophy with 27 points.

Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram shared his thoughts on Thompson's victory:





The event started, and ended, with Thompson putting on a show. He scored 22 points in the first round as the first participant, which led all shooters. Curry scored 21 in the first, while Booker won a tiebreaking shootout against Houston Rockets star James Harden and Los Angeles Clippers sharpshooter J.J. Redick to advance to the finals.
