NBA 2K13: Austin Rivers Appears in 2nd Developer Insight Video from 2K Sports

Austin Rivers may not be the most ballyhooed rookie for the New Orleans Hornets, but at least he can say he's the first Hornets' rookie we've seen on NBA 2K13.

Sub-Zero appears briefly in the video as he's being checked by Manu Ginobili. The balding Argentine falls victim to a few head fakes, and a jump shot courtesy of Rivers.

The video is the second part of the developer's series to introduce the newest additions to gameplay in NBA 2K13. In case you missed the first video, here's a link to it. The second video can be seen below:



Most everything is centered around the right stick this year. This video shows a few more of the moves that can be used to prevent your opponent from swiping the ball, and how to create a little space for yourself to operate.

It also discusses the improved passing, as well as the collision detection. This is the year physics get tons of attention in sports video games, and NBA 2K13 is no exception.
