Mock Documentary Chases Down Knicks Fans Who Booed Kristaps Porzingis at Draft

A lot of people booed when the New York Knicks took Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall pick of the 2015 NBA draft.

I don't have a precise figure, but a rough estimate would include approximately every Knicks fan present at the Barclays Center that night in June.

Since then, the 20-year-old Latvian has gotten buckets. And rebounded. And earned Carmelo Anthony's respect by dunking on everything that moves.

This is a wonderful surprise for the doubters, except they still must reconcile with that awkward time when they publicly trashed their new savior.

Thankfully, as The Kicker illustrated in a mockumentary released Thursday, penance is out there for the sullied New Yorkers who questioned their franchise's Latvian god-child.

All you have to do is don his jersey, remove your pants and take the long, chilly walk of shame to Madison Square Garden.

It's the only way to atone.
