Michael Jordan’s Lavish Chicago-Area Mansion Goes to Auction

A tremendous price drop hasn't brought the buyers in for Michael Jordan's famous house, so perhaps an auction will do the trick. 

The Wall Street Journal's Lauren Schuker Blum reports Jordan has put his 7.39-acre property in Highland Park up for auction after an $8 million price decrease failed to produce a buyer. 

Back in July, SportsGrid noticed the remarkable drop in price—the home had previously been placed on the market for a whopping $29 million. 

The Realtor.com listing for the property includes some of the home's more intriguing amenities, as well as a few stunning images that should have you well-to-do fans looking for the checkbook.

If that doesn't have you excited to plunk down the mandated $250,000 to bid at the auction, perhaps the fact the home features nine bedrooms and 15 full bathrooms might. 



We might as well throw in the fact it includes an indoor pool, a tennis court, a pond and a putting green to sweeten the deal.
