Golden State Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton recently had his car stolen during an ongoing Oakland Hills, California, crime spree.

Jodi Hernandez of NBC Bay Area reported Monday that Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley confirmed that Walton's Mercedes-Benz is among the possessions that were stolen by two suspects. They are also believed to have stolen the vehicle of a 75-year-old woman after a violent attack.

The report noted police arrested two individuals last Friday, but there were still more incidents in the neighborhood that night.

Walton is currently filling in for Steve Kerr on the Warriors sideline. The team's head coach took a leave of absence before the season to recover from back surgery.

Golden State has continued to thrive under the former NBA forward's guidance. The reigning champion recently tied the NBA record for the best mark to start a season at 15-0.

Walton and the Warriors have a chance to set the new standard Tuesday night when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Oracle Arena.
