Los Angeles Clippers vs. New Jersey Nets: Kris Humphries, Nets Earn OT Win

Usually every time Slam-Dunk champion Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers suits up, he’s the most dominant power forward on the court.

While Griffin was a dunking machine once again tonight, the New Jersey Nets’ power forward, Kris Humphries, stole the show in the Nets' 102-98 overtime victory in front of a sellout crowd at the Prudential Center in Newark.

Humphries, who had a double-double through just two and a half quarters, finished with 19 points on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting and a career-high 20 rebounds.

The Nets have now won four straight games for the first time since the 2008-2009 season.

New Jersey actually looked terrible in the early going, shooting just 26 percent in the first quarter. The Clippers opened up a 20-point lead and looked to be coasting to an easy victory.

However, Avery Johnson inserted Travis Outlaw in the second half, and he immediately gave the Nets an offensive boost. Possession by possession, the Nets were able to make up some ground and eventually take the lead.
