Los Angeles Clippers: Blake Griffin’s Entrance and Influence

No need to fix what isn't broken. However, when talking about the Los Angeles Clippers there are lots of pieces scattered around the court waiting to be mended.

Blake Griffin's arrival could not have come at a better time or with a better franchise. The pace of the National Basketball Association is so quick that teams are either excelling by extraordinary means or being shut out immediately. There is no patience in a sport that requires it, so expect some type of futility in certain spots of the league.

With all of that said, Griffin has provided the Clippers with a relevance they have not known since the days of Elton Brand, who contributed massively to a Western Conference Playoffs appearance against the Phoenix Suns. Can Griffin do this alone? No.

But, if you look closely at the roster put in place, he does not have to.

Eric Gordon's perimeter threat is enough to couple Griffin's immaculate paint contributions. His dunks are not the only part of his game that are good enough to be highlighted.
